This Heavy-Duty Combination Sander uses a 6" x 48" belt, a 12" disc, and a 1-1/2 HP motor to tackle your toughest sanding operations. Unlike many belt-driven sanders that require adjustments, the Shop Fox W1712 uses a direct ball-bearing drive from the motor to the sanding disc and belt to deliver a maintenance and vibration-free positive torque flow. For increased sanding versatility and control, both cast-iron tables accept the miter gauge.

The heavy-duty DELTA 31-735A 6-Inch/12-Inch 1-1/2 HP Belt/Disc Sander with Magnetic Switch and Dust Bag is strong enough to handle 95 percent of your finishing operations. Ideal for both metal shops and woodworkers, the sander includes a 1.5 HP motor that flawlessly operates with its 2,100 RPM 50-grit aluminum oxide disc sander and 3,030 RPM 80-grit aluminum oxide belt unit. The belt is designed to operate vertically, horizontally, or at an angle. Large ribbed tables on both sanders are designed to prevent distortion. The belt table can be tilted 45 degrees out and 20 degrees in, while the disc table tilts at 45 degrees out for impeccable angle finishing. In addition, a sliding pivot pin allows for circle sanding.
